Maya is married to a police officer, or so she thinks. Slowly she realises he is involved in something deeper and more sinister. Her husband is part of a covert organisation, called the cell, a guerilla group financed by Indian tycoons and politicians. The police and judicial system is lax and the dons and extremists are more aggressively violent in the cities. The cell is specialised in intelligence gathering, counter-intelligence, electronics and assassination. And the deadly missions are carefully planned to avoid police or interference of ordinary citizens. Maya suspects something is seriously wrong when her sister's boyfriend is targeted and slowly as she uncovers the truth she faces a shocking reality. In the process, Maya doubts herself, during her teens she was once admitted to a mental institution for obsessive-compulsive behaviour. |
