Sujit Chakraborty is a journalist working as senior editor, Indian Television.com. His published works include Sikkim: A Stranger’s Notes and Other Essays on the history, religion, culture and traditions of Sikkim’s minority communities, Environmental Problems of the Coastal Region of Digha published by the WWF Eastern Regional Office, Kolkata and, the script for the film Buddhist Lama Dances of Sikkim (2005-06) funded by the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. His book Soul on Wheels on second-class train travel in north India, will be published early 2008 by Tara Press, India. He speaks English, Bengali, Hindi, Nepali and some Chinese.
