Raana Haider has traveled extensively as the daughter and then the spouse of career diplomats. A global
nomad, her ties with the Middle East region form an association of decades. Raana has an MA in Sociology
from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She is also the author of A Perspective in Development, a study
of gender and development in third world countries (American University in Cairo Press, 1996).
She lives with her husband and daughter in Dhaka. | |
