There is serenity that is unknown to a human in the valley of Kashmir where there are orchards and lilies that
cover the soil. The nostalgia of Kashmir bygone is what all kashmiris like to remember and I think, thrive on.
The past of memory still lingers in the hearts and gives the people hope of those years to return.
The beauty is still there to be seen, behold, take within and perhaps ponder on the more abstract notions of
life, love and struggle, however, it is a little tainted with fear and insecurity. If peace and rest are allowed to
sow their seeds in the soils of Kashmir, the people will perhaps heal, the landscape will perhaps bloom like
never before and the pain will perhaps be forgotten. |
