Fahimm’s father, Inhonvi, was a famous Urdu novelist, Urdu being a poetic and romantic language of the sub-continent. Fahimm is a poet and has written stories and translated a wide range of fiction and non-fiction from Urdu to English and vice versa. He edited HARIM, a literary magazine for women, This is his debut novel. He lives in Lucknow - a romantic city with a lingering atmosphere of its British and Moghul colonial past - with his wife.
