Nedd Willard is a well traveled man and his sketchbooks illustrate this.A sailor at sea in the Atlantic, he later taught
English in South France and received a doctorate at the Sorbonne in Paris. He then walked the roads of Greece before
returning to New York. His last stay there, in the United States, was living in the American dream: California. As Chief of
information for the WHO, he worked and lived six years in India before returning to his new home in the French Alps.
